Abstract

|
Pseudomyxoma peritonei is a relatively rare condition of massive gelatinous accumulation in the peritoneal cavity and gelatinous infiltration of the serous tissue. It is often associated with mucinous tumors of the ovary, mucocele of the
appendix,
and
carcinoma of the large bowel.
A case of pseudomyxoma peritonei originated from mucinous cystadenoma of borderline malignancy in ovary and appendiceal mucocele was reported with a brief review of literature.
